We partnered with a national home improvement retailer. Together, we installed self-checkouts, customer service desks, and online pick-up areas. These changes are meant to improve the customer experience. Regardless of the project’s size or complexity, we ensure complete coverage. When it comes to providing reliable power, Rogers Electric has them fully supported.

Founded in 1946, this retailer started as a small hardware store. It has grown into one of the largest home improvement chains. Today, it has over 1,700 locations in the U.S. and Canada. The company inspires DIY fans with its motto, “never stop improving.” It has grown by buying other businesses, opening new stores, and increasing its online presence. Throughout this growth, it has kept a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

For over 20 years, Rogers Electric has proudly partnered with this retailer. We recently upgraded self-checkouts, customer service desks, and online pick-up stations. This was done at 450 locations across the country. The project, which began in January 2024, is set for completion by year-end. Thanks to our national workforce and in-depth knowledge of the retailer’s needs, we have consistently exceeded expectations.

To reduce disruption, each installation was done after hours. It usually took three to five days and involved a team of three Rogers technicians. Our experts carefully evaluated each site, identifying power sources, checkout placements, and new installations to create an efficient execution plan. In most cases, we optimized the layout by rerouting and moving power sources. Our team focused on saving money and being sustainable. We reused wiring and conduits when we could, which cut down on new materials.
